A plural noun is a noun that stands for a whole bunch of the same things.

    - - You can make almost any noun a plural by adding - s or - es to it:

hats, chairs, dishes, countries, cats, dogs, cheeses, Jews, bottles, etc.

    - - But some nouns form their plurals in different ways, though:

children, feet, people, geese, women, mice, opera, media, etc.

A plural noun is a noun which is a person, place or thing. What makes it plural is it is more than one so it has a "s" at the end. A few example are mom's, dad's, dog's, and people's. Many more too!
