If g (x) = 3 (x - 2), find the value of x if g (x) = 6

    G (x) = 3 (x - 2)

    g (x) = 6

    subtitute

    3 (x - 2) = 6 |divide both sides by 3

    x-2 = 2 |add 2 to both sides

    x = 4

    Answer: g (x) = 6 ⇔ x = 4
