If f (x ) = x+11 and g (x) = 3x^2 , find (f+ g) (x ) and (f+ g) (5 ).

    (f+g) (x) = f (x) + g (x) = x + 11 + 3x^2

    (f+g) (5) = f (5) + g (5) = 5 + 11 + 3 (5^2) = 91
