Find the slope x+4y=-8

    To find the slope of this line, all you have to do is rearrange the variables and put it in slope intercept form.

    Y = mx + b

    4y = - 8 - X

    Y = - 8/4 - X/4

    Y = - 1/4x - 2

    The slope would be - 1/4.
