Two cards are drawn from a well-shuffled deck of 52 playing cards. let x denote the number of aces drawn. find p (x = 0). (round your answer to three decimal places.)

    There are a total of 52 cards and 4 of these cards are aces. So if we are to find the probability of not getting any of the ace card, it is just like saying find the probability of getting any card except ace. There are 48 of these then 47 on the second draw, therefore the probability of not getting any ace card P (x=0) is:

    P (x=0) = (48/52) * (47/51) = 0.8507 = 85.07%
