A TV has height:width in ratio 3:4. In a scale

drawing the height is 4.5cm.

What would the width be?

    height / width = 3 / 4

    So, what is the width if the height is 4.5?

    4.5 / width = 3 / 4

    Cross multiply

    18 = 3 width

    6 = width
