A) If it takes 125 chinchillas to make a coat and he needs to make 10 coats, how many chinchillas must Barton have by the end of two years?

b) If Barton and Kirby started with 500 chinchillas and had 933 at the end of 12 months, what is the particular equation for the growth of the chinchilla population?

    So one coat uses 125 chinchillas. So, 10 * 125 will give you how many will give you 1250 chinchillas ... this is the number of chinchillas needed for 10 coats. So for 2 years you would have to multiply it by two so, 1250 * 2 = 2500.
