    A = l * b

    a = 240 ft^2

    l = (x * 2) + 4

    b = x

    240 = (x * 2) + 4 * x

    Then I started plugging in random values for x. Eventually I came up with this;

    240 = (10 * 2) + 4 * 10

    240 = 20 + 4 * 10

    240 = 24 * 10

    240 = 24

    Length = 24 feet

    Width = 10 feet
