    A dice has six sides numbered 1-6, When two dies are tossed the possibility space (number of possible out comes will be 36). A multiple of 12 is any integer got by multiplying 12 with another integer, includes, 12,24,36 and so on.

    In this case the possibility of getting a multiple of 12 is 1 (6,6) such that 6+6=12, others are 24 and 36 which are multiples of 12 ... Hence, the required probability is

    3/36 = 1/12 or 0.0833

    Therefore, the probability will be 1/12 or 0.0833

    Each die has six faces. Hence, the sample space for the tossing two dice together is equal to,

    n = 6 x 6 = 36

    From these two dice, we can form numbers that are multiples of 12. These numbers are 12, 24, and 36. As can be seen, there are only 3 numbers.

    The probability is equal calculated below.

    P = (3/36) (100%)

    p = 8.33%

    Answer: 8.33%
