You would have to do distribution you would do 5 (2x) which would give you 10 and 5 (10) which gives you 50 so your equation would be - 60=10x+50 then you would subtract 50 from both sides which would give you - 110 your equation would be - 110=10x divided 10 on both sides and your answer would be x=-11
