For f (x) = 2x+1 and g (x) = x squared - 7, find (f+g) (x)

    For f (x) = 2x+1 and g (x) = x^2 - 7,

    so

    (f+g) (x) = 2x + 1 + x^2 - 7

    (f+g) (x) = x^2 + 2x - 6
