Solve, using the substitution method.

3x + 2y = 8

y = x - 6

    3x+2y=8 y=x-6

    3x+2 (x-6) = 8 y=4-6

    3x+2x-12=8 y=-2

    5x=12+8

    5x=20

    x=20/5

    x=4 the answer is C
