Bryson is laying down sod in his yard to grow a new lawn. Each piece of sod is 1-foot by 1-foot square. How many pieces of sod will Bryson need to cover his yard if his yard measures 30 feet by 14 feet?

    30 X 14=420

    If the sod only covers 1-foot by 1-foot square then the amount need will need to be multiplied by the area of the yard and 1

    So the answer is 420 pieces of sod.
