Use a related multiplication equation to show why the equation 5/n = 0 has no solution

    Multiply both sides by 5:

    5/n = 0

    then

    5/n * n = 0 * n

    5 = 0 * n

    This cannot be true because there is no number n you can multiply by 0 and get 5.
