How can you tell if three positive numbers form a Pythagorean triple?

    The formula for the Pythagorean therom is: a[tex] a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}

    So, If a^{2} and b^{2} add up to c^{2} than it is a Pythagorean triple.
