Explain why 3 (5x) is not equivalent to (3*5) (3*x).

    Wow. Ok, really simple, honestly. Because 3 (5x) = 15x. (3*5) (3*x) = 3*5 = 15*3 = 45x. Therefore, 15x and 45x do not correspond to each other at all, meaning that 3 (5x) is not equivalent to (3*5) (3*x) !
