    Let the numbers be X and X+1. X+2 (X+1) = 29 X+2X+2=29 3X=29-2 X=27/3 X=9. Thus, the Numbers are therefore 9 and 9+1=10 i. e 9 & 10. Thus, when 9 is added to (2*10=20), the result is 29.
