If Ray's car gets an average of 32 mpg and he fills his tank with 18.6 gallons of gas, how far can Ray travel on a tank of gas?

    Distance = rate (miles per gallon) x amount (gallons of gas they have)

    distance = 32 x 18.6

    distance = 595.2 miles (may need to round the answer)
