(x - 2) ^ (1/3) = 2
Raise both sides of the equation to power 3.
((x - 2) ^ (1/3)) ^3 = 2^3
(x - 2) ^ ((1/3) * 3) = 2*2*2 we multiply the powers (1/3) and 3.
(x - 2) ^ (1) = 8
(x - 2) = 8
x - 2 = 8
x = 8 + 2
x = 10
