Apologies no one got to this sooner.

    2 + 5 (f + 3) expands to become:

    2 + 5 (f) + 5 (3)

    2 + 5f + 15

    5f + 17 is your answer.

    2+5 (f+3)

    = 2 + (5 (f+3))

    = 2 + (5 (f) + 5 (3))

    =2 + 5f + 15

    = 17 + 5f
