    L=2w-3

    65=w (2w-3)

    65=2w²-3w

    2w²-3w-65=0

    2w²+10w

    2w (w+5)

    -13w-65

    -13 (w+5)

    (2w-13) (w+5)

    w=13/2

    l=13-3

    l=10

    The width is 13/2 yd, and the length is 10 yd.
