To find the unit rate, you need another number.
Let's say 12 eggs = $2.35 and you want to find the unit rate, you just simply divide
2.35 divided by 12 -.1985 just round that and it will be. 20 so it cost 20 cents for every egg so the unit rate would be 20 cents per egg or
.20/1
