    The relation between temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit is

    (F - 32) / 9 = C / 5

    Today its 12 degrees C in the UK so we have:-

    (F - 32) / 9 = 12/5 = 2.4

    F - 32 = 9*2.4 = 21.6

    F = 21.6 + 32 = 53.6 = 54 degrees F to nearest degree.
