You should do is turn the 1/2 upside down to 2/1 and then multiply 3/4 by 2/1 and get 6/4 and turn it into a whole # and to do that you need to know how many time 4 goes into 6 (1) And then add up from there (5,6) and get 1 2/4 and simplify it to 1 1/2!
