    1) solve:

    4 (x+1) >-4

    x+1 > - 1

    x > - 2 ... (-2,∞)

    solve:

    2x-4≤-10

    2x ≤ - 6

    x ≤ - 3 ... (-∞,-3]

    the answer is : (-∞,-3] or (-2,∞)
