If one in every 10 pieces of fruit is a currant and two in every five is a cherry what proportion are raisins

    1/10 currant

    2/5 is cherry * 2 to get it out of 10

    so 4/10 (cherry) + 1/10 (currant) = 5/10 so 5 raisins
