A typical lap around a track in the United States has a length of 440 yards. How many laps would need to be completed to run a mile? Can I also get how you did it? (Work)

    440 = 0.25 or 1/4 a mile

    Their are 1,760 in a mile

    1,760:4=440

    So you would need to run 4 laps
