Deirdre doubled her savings account balance of $100. Then she withdrew $30 to buy some new clothes. Represent this situation with a numerical expression.

    Your answer would be 100-30=70

    (100*2) - 30

    100 is multiplied by two to get 200 and then you subtract 30 to get 170 because they withdrew money so they took away money.
