    There are a total of 18 socks from the drawer. Out of this number, there are 14 that are not blue. The probability of not picking a blue sock is the quotient when 14 non-blue socks is divided by 18 total number of socks. Therefore, the answer is 14/18 which is equal to 7/9. Thus, the answer is letter D.
