A circular pool has a radius of 40 feet. What is the area of the pool? Use 3.14 for π.

    Area for a circle is PI x r^2

    r = 40 feet

    PI = 3.14

    area = 3.14 x 40^2

    area = 3.14 x 1600

    area = 5024 square feet
