    In this case we are given the mass and density and we are to look for the volume. We know that the formula is:

    volume = mass / density

    Therefore calculating for volume:

    volume = 50 g / (1.10 g / cm^3)

    volume = 45.45 cm^3

    or

    volume = 45.45 mL
