A luge run is straight for the first 10 m. If the velocity of the luger when he passes the start line is + 25 m/s and his acceleration is constant at + 9.5 m/s2, about how fast is he going when he hits the first turn?

    V^2 = U^2 + 2AS

    V^2 = 25 ^2 + 2x9.5x10

    V^2 = 625 + 1900 = 2525

    V = 50.25
