Projectile : Object that moves horizontally or at an angle to the Earth's surface. parabolic: The shape of the curved path of a projectile. air resistance: A force of friction produced when an object moves through the air.
So essentially when the projectile moves the air resistance causes the projectile to follow the parabolic, or the curved path.
