Why might more devolped, industrial countries have more carbon dioxide produced per person? how would you test your hypothesis?

    More developed countries tend to have more large roads and factories. Fuel exhaust from the vehicles and factories heighten carbon dioxide output. To test this one could record the number of major roadways and factories of several countries and compare that data with each country's carbon dioxide output to population ratio.
