A race car accelerates from 0 m/s to 30.0 m/s with a displacement of 45.0 m. what is the vehicle's acceleration?

    The formula:

    S = (V² - V₀²) / (2*a)

    Find the acceleration of a race car:

    a = (V²-V₀²) / (2*S)

    a = (30² - 0²) / (2*45.0) = 900 / 90 = 10.0 m/s²
