    The angle of the incidence (T) = 40°

    Angle of refraction (r) = 26°

    →To find the speed of light in the material

    From shell's law, we know

    n: sin i/sin = speed of light in air/Speed of light in the medium

    Sin 40°/sin 60° = 3*10⁸/V

    V = 3 * 10⁸ * sin 26°/sin 40°

    → V medium = 2 * 10⁸ m/s.
