A stuffed dog is tied to the end of a rope with a radius of 1 meter and swung in a horizontal circle with an angular velocity of 10 m/s. What would be the angular velocity if the rope was lengthened to 2 m?

Can this problem be worked out without the mass of the stuffed dog? And if it can how?

    I believe the velocity would be double to 20 m/s.

    This isn't from a formula, it's just from knowing that the range/radius and velocity are directly proportional. So that means that is length doubles, so will velocity.
