What environmental factor will cause a plant shoot to grow in a direction other than straight up?

    Its lighting can affect this because the farther a plant is from the light or the dimmer the light source the more a plant is going to lean or tilt in order to get its source of energy.

    An environmental factor that will cause a plant to grow in a different direction is not getting enough sunlight from the location it is meaning it will grow towards a part where it can easily get sunlight
