Spring is the season that is most often associated with rebirth and life. This is because literally after a cold and harsh winter in which conditions are not favourable for any growth of life, in which animals hibernate, or migrate away, shrubs die in the cold or under a heavy blanket of snow. This process starts actually with Autumn with the arrive of which the trees start shedding their green foliage.

When Spring arrives, the snows begin to melt, the weather gets pleasant. The land becomes fertile again and shrubs begin to sprout. Grass will grow anywhere you let it and the trees begin to be covered in green leaves again. The use of Spring as an archetype for life has also been encouraged by the poets who often used spring as a metaphor for life and rebirth.
