Teams in basketball are of 5 players, but often many subs
The players are set up around the key, 2 forwards, usually taller guys, either side of the net close to the end of the court, 2 guards, either side of the net but closer to the centre of the court than the forwards, and a centre, in the key a lot of the time, using lots of physical contact
