    Momentum of car

    Given: Mass m = 1500 Kg; Velocity v = 1.6 m/s

    P = mv

    P = (1500 Kg) (1.6 m/s) = 2400 Kg. m/s

    What should be the speed of rider to have the same momentum

    P = 2,400 Kg. m/s

    m = 100 Kg

    P = mv

    v = 2,400 Kg. m/s/100 Kg

    v = 24 m/s Answer
