In a transverse wave, if you increase of the wave you will get what kind of wavelength

    Using the formula v = f λ,

    where v is the velocity of the wave, f is the frequency of the wave and λ is the wavelength of the wave.

    assuming that the velocity of the wave remains constant, by increasing the wavelength the frequency must decrease.
