How do I compute the resistance in ohms of a lead block 15 cm long and 0.10 cm2 in cross-sectional area. (ρ = 2.2 x 10-5 ohm-cm)

    Resistance is also dependent on the length of a wire where it is expressed as the product of the resistive force and the length of the wire over the cross-sectional area of the wire. Calculation are as follows:

    R = pL / A

    R = 2.2 x 10^-5 x 15 / 0.10

    R = 3.3 x 10^-3 ohms
