If her racket pushed on the ball for a distance of 0.13 m, what was the average acceleration of the ball during her serve?

    For the answer to the question above, the question is incomplete however, I've encountered this question before. the missing portion is A tennis serve is recorded at 130mi/h or 209km/h.

    (209/3.6) = 58.056m/sec.

    Acceleration = (v^2/2d) = (58.056^2/0.3) = 11,235m/sec^21.

    Time = (v/a) = 58.056/11,235 = 5.167 x 10^-3 sec., or 5.17mS approx.
