    We know that by definition Frequency is the reciprocal of period.

    So

    f=1/3=0.33Hz

    The frequency doesn't depend on the wave speed.

    Frequency is simply the reciprocal of the period.

    Frequency = 1 / (3sec) = 1/3 per sec = 1/3 Hz.
