How are commets pushed out of the oort cloud

In general, the biggest influences on comets in the Oort cloud tend to be the large gas giants of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune as they interfere with what would have been a more or less standard orbit around the sun with their own gravitational pull.
