The gage pressure in a liquid at a depth of 3 m is read to be 49 kPa. Determine the gage pressure in the same liquid at a depth of 9 m.

    Since it's the same liquid p1 = p2 and g1 = g2

    P1/P2 = h1/h2

    P2 = P1h2/h1

    P1 = 49kpa

    h1 = 3m

    h2 = 9m

    P2 = 49*9/3
