If water is leaking from a certain tank at a constant rate of 1,200 milliliters per hour, how many seconds does it take for 1 milliliter of water to leak from the tank?

    making t the subject of the equation above,

    t = V/Q ... Equation 2.

    Substituting these values into equation 2

    t = 1/1200

    t = 0.00083 hours.

    If I hours = 3600 seconds,

    Then, 0.00083 hours = 0.00083*3600 seconds
