    The use of NaOH to scrub carbon dioxide;

    2NaOH (aq) + CO₂ (g) → Na₂CO₃ (aq) + H₂O (l)

    The Na₂CO₃ would then reacted with CaOH to form limestome;

    Na₂CO₃ (aq) + Ca (OH) ₂ (s) → 2NaOH (aq) + CaCO₃ (s)

    NaOH would then be regenerated and used again to scrub more carbon dioxide.

    Carbon dioxide for industrial use can then be obtained by burning the CaCO₃.

    CaCO₃ (s) → CaO (s) + CO₂ (g)
