The moon's gravity is one-sixth of Earth's gravity. If you weigh 100 Newtons on Earth, how much do you weigh on the moon?

    Explanation:

    If the moons gravity is 1/6th earths gravity and earth's gravity is 9.8m/s

    Then the moons gravity = 9.8/6 = 1.63m/s

    Your weight on Earth = Mass * gravity

    100N = Mass*9.8

    Mass = 100/9.8 = 10.204.

    Since your mass doesn't change no matter your location. But your weight does due to the pull of gravity.

    On the moon your weight becomes

    W = 10.204 * 1.63 = 16.63
